Establishing the project objectives; proposing solutions; cost estimates; submission of preliminary project reports to Client.

Producing reports accompanied with drawings and schedules as specific project proposals to the Client.

Producing detailed drawings; producing detailed specifications and schedule of materials; equipment and installation requirements; material requisition; compiling tender documentation (comprising contract requisition, specifications, drawings, bills of quantities, contract and tender conditions etc.); invitation and adjudication of tenders.

Producing construction drawings; producing specifications, schedule of materials, equipment and installation requirements for construction.

Activities include:

• placing of order on behalf of the client;
• checking contractor’s drawings for conformity with the design requirements;
• liaison with contractor(s), the rest of the design team (where applicable) and client;
• site monitoring;
• issuing of site instructions and variations orders;
• quality control;
• cost control;
• issuing of payment certificates and cost reports;
• participation in construction MEP meetings corresponding to the requirements of the principal;
• technical approval of the work and determination of the deficiencies (deficiency report);
• participation in tests and approvals by authorities and appraisers;
• coordination during trial operation and startup of the equipment;
• supervision of elimination of any deficiencies noted during approval of the work;
• in the event of any change in the contract principles performing calculations and checking for additional and/or decreased costs in comparison to the contract on the basis of the unit price list;
• (where applicable) checking of renter desires in terms of costs, feasibility and coincidence with the basic concept according to the specification of the principal;
• checking, compilation and submission of the revision documents, operations and instructions, test reports, etc. completed by the excluding companies.
